Richard Vermette, 2nd dan, has been practicing traditional karate since 2007. He has participated in many provincial, national and international advanced training seminars with renowned senseis. He was selected for the Canadian team for the WTKF World Championships in Switzerland in 2014, then for the Pan-American Championships in Brazil in 2015. He has been teaching karate since 2011, and became a coach for the KTK team in view to prepare the next generation of karatekas in the region for international competitions. Richard loves to see the progress of students, but his passion remains in learning and perfecting his art.
