Karate is an efficient method of self-defence, which also leads to improved cardiovascular and muscular strength, coordination, balance and flexibility. Other benefits include: stress management, and strengthen patience, determination and courage.
All students can also further challenge their skills by participating in regional and provincial competitions (Insert link to the competitions page). There are also opportunities to become a competition coach or a competition judge.
The beginners program provides a safe and tailored approached to meet the needs of our adolescents students. Class is divided into smaller groups, so that students can train their specific curriculum and can also learn basic to intermediate self-defence skills. The program is structured so that all students feel safe while having fun.
