Since 1993, KTK MARTIAL ARTS has been serving the Gatineau community. Through its structured and well-established karate programs, students benefit from physical training while at the same time benefiting from an environment that promotes excellence in everything that we do.

We are proud to say that our KTK instructors offer excellent training and have experience in competitions at the national and international level and participate in instructors’ seminars and certification programs. Our instructors are also educated and have professional careers to add to their teaching repertoire.
Sensei Sylvain Aubé is a 5th Dan, graded by the Japanese standards of Shotokan Karate– and had to pass his exams just like any other practitioner who is established in Japan. He has a bachelor in science, physical education and has been teaching police techniques at Cegep and martial arts classes at the University of Ottawa.
Adamira Tijerino has extensive teaching experience (over 10 years as a criminology professor) and more recently, working in the Government of Canada.
